When I hold my dog’s collar up to the wall-mounted transmitter it works, but not in the yard.

Conditions: The wall transmitter is not beeping The collar works in the garage when held close to the Wall-Mounted transmitter The collar is not working in the yard You are certain it was working before your handyman (AKA significant other) reconfigured the wiring that is attached to the Lightning protector. The wall mounted transmitter box in the garage has a number showing on it. It might say “08”, or another number. When you press the “DOWN” button, the number will decrease whilst the “UP” button will increase the size of the signal field. As the number changes, so does the size of the signal field
